Really, there’s just too much interesting climate content out there for early June. Ithaca’s air, which is normally pristine, is worse than Beijing’s right now, thanks to smoke from Canadian wildfires.
I’m very tired of the “climate winner” conversation that is sometimes had about Canada and Russia, or even Ithaca. We aren’t winners.
Some of which require debunking, others that deserve amplifying. I’ll leave my extended commentary to your imagination.
The Peterson Institute for International Economics hosted a two day conference (still ongoing as I draft!) on Climate and Macroeconomics. Looks like it’s all going to be archived on youtube for viewing later, once all of the Hollywood unions go on strike.

The LPE project has burst onto the scene with tons of fascinating material recently, most notably a symposium on CLIMATE, ECONOMICS & GREEN CAPITALISM. I definitely don’t have any apparently not-yet-public information about some of its masthead. Nope.
